Step by step instructions to connect your Toast POS with Bar.stream

Connecting to Toast begins by creating a new user for Bar.stream.
This provides secure access to data for streamlining your operations.

Don’t have access to create new users?
Provide the following steps to somebody with an administrator account.

  1. Login to Toast with an Administrator account

  2. Select Employees from the menu on the left

  3. Select Employees under Employee Management

  4. Click +Add New Employee.

  5. You will be prompted if you'd like this user to create an account. Select YES.

  6. Fill out employee information with the following details:

    • ○  First Name: Bar

    • ○  Last Name: Stream

    • ○  Email Address: pos@bar.stream

  7. Select Add to finalize your changes

  8. Return to the list of employees and locate the new  "Bar Stream" employee. Click on the Edit (pencil) icon

  9. Scroll down the page to the Restaurant Admin section and ENABLE the following permissions:

    • ○  4.1 Sales Reports

    • ○  4.2 Menu Reports

    • ○  8.3 Data Exports

  10. Click on the check box AND click on the Override button. Once this happens, the top Restaurant Admin section will be checked off.

  11. Select Save at the top of the screen.
